A Cultural Field Trip to Chokhi Dhani

The students went on a memorable and enriching excursion on 27th February 2026 to Chokhi Dhani, a place that beautifully showcases the culture and traditions of Rajasthan. The journey began with the students travelling together by bus, filled with excitement and anticipation.

Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed with traditional music and dance performances. The vibrant atmosphere immediately gave the feeling of stepping into a village in Rajasthan. Throughout the venue, there were several stations where artists performed traditional folk dances and cultural activities, allowing the students to experience the rich heritage of Rajasthan.

One of the most exciting parts of the visit was seeing animals commonly associated with desert life. The students had the opportunity to see camels and horses up close. They also enjoyed rides such as camel rides, camel cart rides, bullock cart rides and horse cart rides, which gave them a glimpse into the traditional modes of transport used in desert regions.

The entire setting made everyone feel as though they had travelled to Rajasthan itself and were experiencing its culture firsthand.

After exploring the cultural activities, the students enjoyed a delicious traditional Rajasthani lunch. The meal was scrumptious and authentically prepared, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the food.

The excursion was not only a fun-filled experience but also a valuable learning opportunity. The students learned about Rajasthani culture, traditions, folk performances, animals associated with desert life, and traditional ways of travel. The trip also encouraged social interaction, cooperation, and shared experiences among the students.

Overall, it was a wonderful day filled with joy, cultural learning, and unforgettable memories.
