On 20th February 2026, students of Class 3 participated in an educational field trip to Dakshin Chitra, on East Coast Road in Chennai.
The excursion was thoughtfully planned as an extension of classroom learning , aimed at fostering cultural awareness and experiential learning among our young learners.

During the visit, students explored meticulously restored heritage homes representing Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh — offering valuable insights into the architectural traditions and domestic life of South India across different historical periods. Guided sessions on traditional crafts, including pottery and handloom weaving, gave students an appreciation of the region’s rich artisanal heritage.

Students returned with a heightened sense of cultural appreciation and a broader understanding of India’s diverse traditions.
