It was a moment of pride and joy as our school witnessed the Inauguration and Blessing of the New ICSE School Building on Wednesday, 8th October, 2025. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the institution’s journey towards growth and excellence.

The event began with the Lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by the warm welcome extended to the distinguished guests, staff, students, and well-wishers, by the Principal, Mrs. Hemamalini Sivakumar. The new building was blessed by Rev. Fr. James Raj, Minister of Loyola College after a solemn prayer service. The New Building was inaugurated by the Province Leader, Sr. Shoba who cut the ribbon and unveiled the plaque symbolizing the opening of a new chapter in the school’s history.

Following the inauguration, the blessing ceremony was led by Fr. James Raj, who invoked God’s grace upon the new edifice and all those who will learn and serve within its walls. The solemn prayer service created an atmosphere of gratitude and reverence, setting the tone for the day’s celebration.

The Superior and Correspondent, Sr. Leela expressed heartfelt thanks on behalf of the Community to the Alumni, parents, and other well-wishers whose unwavering support made the dream of a new building come true. She highlighted that the new infrastructure reflects the school’s commitment to providing a nurturing and progressive environment for students.

The choir added a touch of melody and devotion to the ceremony as Father blessed all the classrooms. The programme concluded with the School Song and the National Anthem, followed by refreshments for all guests.

The inauguration of the new building stands as a testament to the school’s vision, faith, and perseverance — a foundation not just of bricks and mortar, but of dreams and dedication.
