CLASS ASSEMBLY – VII

On the occasion of Kamarajar’s Birthday, the students of Class VII-A
conducted a special assembly on the inspiring theme, ‘Gratitude’ on 15 th July
2025. While the assembly aimed to honor the legacy of the great leader K.
Kamarajar, also known as the Kingmaker and Kalvi Thanthai (Father of
Education) of Tamil Nadu, it also reminded everyone of the importance of
expressing gratitude in everyday life.
The assembly began with a speech and video on Kamarajar’s life,
highlighting his simple lifestyle, dedication to public service, and key
contributions to education. Following this, a short skit on gratitude was
performed, showing how small acts of appreciation can make a big difference in
relationships at home and in school.
To set a devotional and reflective mood, the students performed the beloved
hymn Showers of Blessing. The song reflected the central message of the day
— to be grateful for all the blessings that surround us each day.
A student then read a verse from the Holy Bible that beautifully tied in with the
theme.
To conclude the assembly, the Principal addressed the gathering, appreciating
the efforts of the students and emphasizing how Kamarajar’s humility and
dedication are examples of living with gratitude and service.

The assembly was a perfect blend of devotion, inspiration, and learning. It left
the audience deeply moved and reminded everyone to count their blessings and
express thanks in both words and actions.
