Class Assembly – 5B

The students of Grade 5B – Chrysolite 2, joyfully presented their class assembly on the theme “Celebrating Children” as part of the Children’s Day week. The programme highlighted the beauty of childhood and the importance of nurturing joy, creativity, and balance in their lives.

The assembly began with a warm welcome, followed by a Bible reading and a heartfelt prayer thanking God for the gift of childhood. The students then presented a melodious song, “Jesus Loves Little Children,” celebrating love, acceptance, and unity. A vibrant dance performance further added colour and enthusiasm to the celebration.

The highlight of the programme was a meaningful skit titled “Childhood is to Celebrate.” Through expressive acting and thoughtful dialogues, the students conveyed that while studies are important, play, creativity, and happiness are equally essential for a child’s growth. The skit encouraged everyone to cherish childhood and maintain a healthy balance between learning and leisure.

The performance reflected the confidence, teamwork, and enthusiasm of the students and truly celebrated the spirit of childhood.
