Celebrating 250 Years of Venerable Nano Nagle

As part of the Presentation Day Feast and in honour of the 250th year of our beloved foundress, Venerable Nano Nagle, the students of Turquoise 1 presented a meaningful and inspiring Class Assembly titled “Carry the Magic: Sharing, Caring, and Shining Together.”

Through expressive narration, drama, and melodious songs, the children brought to life the timeless message of kindness and generosity. Their performance included a creative retelling of the “Stone Soup” story, reminding everyone that true magic happens when we share what we have.

The assembly also paid tribute to Nano Nagle, the “Lady with the Lamp,” whose dedication to education, compassion for the poor, and unwavering courage continue to guide and inspire the Presentation family around the world. The students beautifully highlighted her mission of spreading light, hope, and love — a legacy that remains alive even after 250 years.

With their confidence, teamwork, and heartfelt expressions, the students made the celebration truly special. Their performance perfectly captured the spirit of Nano Nagle and encouraged everyone to continue her mission of sharing, caring, and shining together.
